Episode 15
How to Use Twitter Spaces for Government & Public Sector
Twitter is the most used social network by Government and public sector agencies. It’s the perfect platform for corporate communications and in all of the studies that I have completed on social media use in this sector, it is the one platform that agencies focus on most.
Twitter is now 15 years old but it has grown into so much more than just a text-based Tweeting platform. Over the past year it has kept us up to date with the pandemic, livestreams from Governments and coverage of local, national and international events.
But how is it maintaining its relevance during a time when Instagram and TikTok are the rising social media stars?
In this episode I am going to look at Twitter’s latest feature, Spaces, which I believe offers a remarkable opportunity to government and public sector agencies.
Coming up in Episode 15 of the Public Sector Marketing Show:
- What are Twitter Spaces and why should you consider going all in as a government agency?
- What a Twitter Spaces strategy might look like?
- I speak to Twitter expert and Spaces Beta Tester Madalyn Sklar, who has been described as one of the world's top Twitter marketing instructors
