One of the biggest hurdles to fully embracing social media in the public sector is the risk factor. Now I’ll never dismiss the many risks that public sector pros feel they want to mitigate, but I am a firm believer in planning for and embracing risk. Risk sits with fear and very often we can build up fears that never become a reality.
